It's time to register for fall sports!

It's time to register for fall sports!

Registration for Richfield Public Schools fall athletics is now open! A full list of fall sports is available on the Athletics page of our website. If your child plans to participate in a fall sport, complete the steps below to register.

Step 1: Create Your Bound Account

Beginning this year, all athletic registration takes place through Bound. Families can also use Bound throughout the season to view schedules, purchase tickets and manage activities in one convenient place.

Using the Bound App (Download on iOS | Google Play)

Using a Web Browser on your Phone or Computer (recommended if you need translation tools)

Use this link to register!

Step 2: Upload Your Sports Qualifying Physical

A current sports qualifying physical is required for all student-athletes. Sports physicals remain valid for three years.

Step 3: Complete Registration

Follow the prompts in Bound to register your student for their fall sport.

Step 4: Pay Your Activity Fee

Don't wait to register if you're still applying for educational benefits. Students may complete registration before payment is made. Families who qualify for educational benefits will receive reduced activity fees after uploading their approval letter to Bound.

You can apply for Educational Benefits at this link: https://www.schoolcafe.com/RICHFIELDPUBLICSD

Payment plans and scholarships are also available for families experiencing financial hardship. If you need assistance, please email athletics@rpsmn.org. We are happy to work with you to find a solution.

Additional Resources

We never want finances to be a reason a student doesn’t participate.
Payment plans and scholarships are available to all students, regardless of educational benefits. Students registering for an activity or sport who cannot pay their registration fee in full may request a reduced fee for economic hardship. As stated in Board Policy 781.1, all requests will be reviewed, and additional documentation may be requested. Please email athletics@rpsmn.org so we can help create a plan that works for your family.

Team Communication
Coaches will communicate with athletes and families through ParentSquare. Students new to a sport will automatically be added to their team's ParentSquare group after registration is complete.

Athletic Handbook
The Richfield Athletic & Competitive Activities Handbook includes eligibility requirements, MSHSL policies and other important information for student-athletes and families.

Game Schedules
Schedules can be found through Bound. We encourage families to follow the sports they are interested in to receive updates.

We look forward to another exciting season of Richfield Athletics. If you have questions, please contact athletics@rpsmn.org.
