Creativity Connecting Classrooms

Creativity Connecting Classrooms

We had a special visit from students at Central Education that brought a bright spark of joy to our Richfield High School classrooms. The prekindergarten class joined our Percussion Studio students for a hands-on music session. With shakers in hand, the young learners explored rhythm alongside our high school musicians. The room was filled with steady beats, giggles and the kind of spontaneous creativity that happens when students of different ages learn together.

The fun didn’t stop there. Later that week, the same group returned for a visit to our Beginners Drawing and Painting class. High school artists guided the PreK students as they created colorful finger-painted masterpieces. Tiny hands mixed paints and experimented with texture while our students encouraged them, offered help and celebrated each creation.

These shared experiences gave our high schoolers the chance to lead, support and inspire. They also allowed the PreK students to see what learning can look like as they grow, from the music room to the art studio. Most of all, the visits brought a sense of connection to our building. It was a joyful celebration of creativity, curiosity and community.
