Student Spotlight: Kenbrick

Student Spotlight: Kenbrick

About Kenbrick (from his nominee)

Kenbrick has ALL of his assignments in and has As and Bs in all of his classes. When I asked what he would like to do as a "reward,”  he responded with wanting to be in my room, so he could get this week's work finished. Not only that but when he sees me doing something, he always asks how he can help. Today during study time, I watched him go and help his friends with their work when asked which shows that his friends look to him as a leader.

The Student Pride Award

Each week, our staff will nominate students who go above and beyond in our community through contributions to academics, supporting peers, community service, participation in school leadership, kindness, etc. If selected, you can expect:

  • Communication from the school regarding your award nomination, your action that contributed positively to our community, and the staff member who recognized you.
  • A weekly student spotlight section in the newsletter, on the website and social media, to celebrate the contribution of some of our many nominated students.
  • All nominees will be put into a drawing at the end of the week to earn a prize.
