RHS Student Musician Earns All-State Band Honors

Frances Tronnes represented Richfield High School at the Minnesota Music Educators Association All-State Band Concert on Saturday, February 14. This prestigious ensemble is formed through a rigorous audition process each spring, with only the top student musicians across Minnesota earning a spot.

Under the direction of Lia Snead, the concert featured collegiate-level works centered on themes that connect us through the shared journey of life, with meaningful selections honoring Black History Month. Frances first joined the ensemble for an intensive week of rehearsals last summer at Concordia College Moorhead. After months of preparation, the group reunited this February to deliver an exceptional live performance.

Congratulations to Frances on this remarkable achievement and for representing our high school, our music program and our entire community with excellence and pride.
