RHS Musical Production Earns Honors

RHS Musical Production Earns Honors

Students who participated in our production of Urinetown received multiple honors and high rankings from the Hennepin Theater Trust. All of these students will have a chance to participate in the Spotlight Showcase at the State Theater in Minneapolis on Tuesday, June 13.

One of our leads, Levi Wilson (as Bobby Strong) received Outstanding Performance in a Leading Role. Further congratulations to Mara Lien (as Hope Cladwell), who received Honorable Mention in a Leading Role, and the pit orchestra conductors George Illes and Harrison Cha, who received Outstanding in Technical Leadership.

Our student technical director, Rellie Defor, received Honorable Mention in Technical Leadership and will have the opportunity to work with professional stage technicians and scenery artists in assembling the technical parts of the Spotlight Showcase.

In addition, three other students have been picked to perform in the opening number as featured dancers and singers to represent Richfield:

  • Bella Peterson
  • James Robles
  • Amelia Rheinhart

Congratulations to all of our students and staff who worked to make this production possible.
