Hannah Olson, a 2008 graduate of Richfield High School, has found her passion in an unexpected field—llama events. Her business, Happy Jolly Llamas, brings joy to private parties, businesses and community events with the help of two special llamas named Dill and Pickle.

The Spartan Foundation
The Richfield Spartan Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the education experience for students of the Richfield Public Schools. It is a non-profit organization that was formed in 1990 for the purpose of supporting the youth and staff of Richfield by fundraising for RHS programs and providing college scholarships for graduates. It is their mission to aid in funding the needs of tomorrow's leaders here in Richfield. Learn more on the Spartan Foundation website.

We had a surprise visitor at our recent open house!
Two Richfield High School alumni received the Continuing Excellence Scholarship from Dougherty Family College, which provided each of them with a full-ride scholarship to complete their undergraduate degree at St. Thomas.
Fametta Zubah, a Richfield High School alum and current U of M Twin Cities student, is giving back to the Richfield community. After her graduation in 2021, Fametta created and sponsored the FAM Z Alumni Scholarship, which awards one graduating senior a scholarship to be used toward undergraduate expenses.
Bill Davis was a 1960 graduate of Richfield High School and a long-time resident of the Richfield community. He was one of the founding members of the Richfield Spartan Foundation, which provides scholarships for Richfield High School graduates and provides financial support for programs at RHS.
Alia Scheirman, an RHS graduate, lived and worked in Ukraine several years ago as a member of the Peace Corps. Now, she worries about the friends she met and is working to collect food, supplies and cash to send to friends and organizations in Ukraine.
